Diving spots

    wreck sozopol

    “Lagoon“ Sozopol

The lagoon is located some 50 meters from our diving center in Sozopol, at 31 Odesa Str. and is one of the best places for beginners and also for training of Open Water Divers. Since we have scuba dived here  for several years – the fish in the lagoon know us and know we will feed them; they have become part of the underwater show  and come to us to get their daily portion of sea snails. The depth gradually drops and reaches  7 meters.

Scuba diving at “Pioneer“ wreck Sozopol

When the weather conditions are suitable for a boat dive, we organize scuba diving to the 30-meter fishing ship Pioneer, which was intentionally submerged. It is located at 18 meters of depth close to St. Ivan island and is suitable for divers with ,,Open Water Diver“ certificate. After so many years spent at the bottom of the sea, the wreck is overgrown with mussels and is home to many wrasses, gobies and blennies; one can also observe schools of migratory fish.

    Stone forest – Sozopol

One of a kind underwater stone forest is proof that millions of years age the bottom of the sea used to be land. At 20 meters depth there are huge tree trunks, sticking from the sandy sea floor. The scuba dive is from our boat and can be performed by divers with Advanced certificate.

    “Rodina“ wreck – Duni resort

Rodina is one of the most famous diving spots in Bulgaria with 6510 t. displacement; the depth is 40 meters and the dive is suitable only for experienced divers. It is located opposite Kolokita cape, south of Sozopol. The cargo ship sunk after hitting two mines at the same time in 1941 while travelling from Istanbul to Varna.

    Mussel reef  – Sozopol

A brand new diving spot, found in 2018; while performing joint reseach between team of Bulgarian Academy of Science and  Sub Diving diving center. The reef consisits entirely of agglutinated mussel shells, and still has not been examined throughtly. The depths there very from 16 to 13 meters and there are old anchors lying on the bottom. The dives are from the diving boat; suitable only for certified divers.

    Underwater chapel – Primorsko

An interesting tourist attraction – the Underwater chapel is suitable for beginners at depth of 6 meters. The icons of St. Nikolay and a Christian cross can be observed. Right under the chapel, at depth 12 meters is a submerged statue of a mermaid serenely waiting to greet yet another diving group.

    Seal cave – Maslen nos

The diving spot is one of the most popular in Bulgaria; it is located in Ropotamo natural reserve and is hard to reach. The only way is by boat. The entry from the sea is at 14 meters depth, the divers must go through a tunnel, which is in the upper part of the cave’s bottom and there is room only for one diver to pass at the same time. The spot is suitable for underwater photography and cave diving training, as well as relaxation and гecreational diving. Open Water Diver certification is minimum for scuba divers.

    3. That means you’ll see some fresh features and suffer with access to additional channels where you can forward movement visibility, without having to put to rights import of some ornate, vade-mecum migration process. https://googlec5.com
