Becoming Open Water Diver is the best way to start your underwater adventure and uncover the secrets of the underwater world. This scuba diving course trains you how to work with the diving equipment and feel comfortable during any dive you take part of. Upon successful completion of the program you will receive an internationally recognized certificate; with it you can take part of any scuba diving group, no matter which part of the world you are scuba diving. The Open Water Diver consists of 3 main parts. Academic sessions, pool sessions or shallow water sessions and Open water sessions at sea.
The academic part consists of online training and theoretic lectures led by the instructor, which will teach you regarding:
What is scuba equipment and how to use it
Underwater communication signs
The influence of the physical laws on your body
Emergency underwater procedures
The shallow water sessions give you a firm foundation and build the necessary skills and ability to work with scuba diving equipment; this is important for your comfort during your stay in the open waters. During the underwater training you will learn how to correctly use the breathing apparatus.
Of the diving equipment, to balance your buoyancy, you will learn how to clean your mask underwater and many other diving exercises, which you will perform at a place with limited depth.
The open water scuba dives will give you the opportunity to practice what you learned in shallow water and allow you to really feel the pleasure of floating underwater effortlessly
The program consists of:
4 hours training in a pool or in shallow water
6 hours of theory
4 open water dives
Permission to scuba dive to 18 meters with supervision
